Connect any mail provider by SMTP, with optional IMAP reply sync, verify the connection, and manage credentials.
SMTP accounts let Stynar send campaigns through any external mail provider — the right choice when you're routing through a specific platform like Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, Zoho Mail, or a private mail server, or any provider that isn't Gmail or Outlook.
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| From Name | The display name recipients see in their inbox — typically your name or company name. |
| From Email | The sender address that appears in the From field for all campaign emails. |
| SMTP Host | The SMTP server hostname provided by your mail provider. |
| Port | The connection port — typically 465 for SSL or 587 for STARTTLS. |
| SMTP Username | Your mailbox username or email address used for SMTP authentication. |
| SMTP Password | Your account password or an app-specific password generated by your provider. |
Add SMTP Account
Enter the sender identity and SMTP credentials for your mail provider.
Verify Connection
Run a verification test to confirm the credentials and server connectivity are valid.
Re-verify
Run verification again after updating credentials or changing server settings.
Send Campaigns
Assign the verified SMTP account to campaigns and begin delivery.
A checkbox in the connection form — Enable reply sync (IMAP) — turns on a second set of credentials so replies land directly in this mailbox and sync to your campaigns automatically, instead of routing through a platform capture address. Most providers pair an SMTP host with a matching IMAP one (smtp.example.com → imap.example.com) and reuse the same login, so the fields usually fill in sensibly on their own.
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verify | Tests SMTP server connectivity and credential authentication — run this before assigning the account to campaigns. |
| Edit | Update sender display name, email address, SMTP credentials, or IMAP settings without removing the account. |
| Disconnect | Permanently remove the SMTP account from Stynar. |
| Status | The current verification state of the account — Not Verified, Testing, Connected, or Failed. |
