Docs/Sending Accounts/Set up and verify a sending domain

Set up and verify a sending domain

Verify ownership of your sending domain with auto-generated DNS records to improve email deliverability.

Sending from your own domain — not a personal Gmail address — is the single biggest lever for deliverability at scale. Add it here, drop a few DNS records in wherever your domain is registered, and Stynar handles proving to every mailbox provider that your emails are exactly who they say they are.

Add Domain

Enter the domain you want to use for sending.

Copy DNS Records

Copy the generated DNS values from Stynar.

Update DNS Provider

Add the records in Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Route53, Namecheap, or another provider.

Verify Domain

Return to Stynar and complete verification.

Domain statuses

  • Pending – Waiting for DNS verification.
  • Connected – Domain verified successfully.
  • Verification Failed – DNS records are missing or incorrect.

DNS propagation

DNS updates may take up to 48 hours to propagate globally. If verification fails immediately after adding records, wait and try again later.

Why domain verification matters

Authenticated domains improve sender trust, increase inbox placement, and reduce the likelihood of messages being marked as spam.

Removing a domain doesn't touch your DNS provider

Deleting a domain removes it from Stynar and SES, but any records you added at your registrar stay put — delete those manually if you want them gone too.
