Docs/Getting Started/Your first campaign

Your first campaign

The fastest real path from a blank workspace to your first email actually sending.

There are two equally real ways to get your first campaign out the door — a conversational one and a hands-on one. Pick whichever fits how you like to work; both end at the same place: a real campaign, sending to real people.

What you're actually building

A "campaign" in Stynar is really four things bundled together: the audience you're sending to, the content each of them receives (static, or personalized per recipient with the {{AI_CONTENT}} tag), an optional follow-up sequence for anyone who doesn't reply, and a delivery schedule that controls when and how fast it all goes out. Every path below — conversational or hands-on — configures that exact same bundle; the Agent just fills it in for you through a conversation instead of a series of screens.

Ask the Agent

Describe your audience in plain English, or click one of its ready-made suggestions — it searches, drafts, and walks you through launch in one conversation.

Build it yourself

Find your own leads, pick a template, and step through the campaign builder by hand — full control at every step.

Path 1 — Ask the Agent

1

Start from a suggestion, or type your own

Your first conversation already has three campaign ideas shaped around your business — click one, or describe exactly who you're after: "Find me marketing directors at Series B SaaS companies in the US."

2

Review the match, then Add to Campaign

The Agent hands back a real, workable list. Select who you want, click Add to Campaign, and it saves them for you automatically.

3

Walk through four quick steps

Sender, subject, body, and a final review — each one pre-filled with a solid AI-drafted starting point you can edit however you like.

4

Start it

Confirm on the review step and your campaign goes live — right from the chat.

The complete walkthrough — including follow-ups, A/B testing, and live previews — lives in the AI Agent docs section, under Creating campaigns with the Agent.

Path 2 — Build it yourself

1

Find your audience

Head to Leads → Find companies or Find people to search and save a fresh audience, or Saved lists if you already imported one.

2

Start a new campaign

From Campaigns, create a new campaign and select your saved list as the audience.

3

Design your email

Write your own copy or pick a template — Stynar's personalization tag adapts each send to the recipient automatically.

4

Set your follow-ups and schedule

Add a follow-up sequence for anyone who doesn't reply, then choose when your campaign sends.

5

Review and launch

One last look at everything — audience, content, senders, and timing — then hit start.

The full builder, step by step

Every detail of this path — leads, design, follow-ups, scheduling, and review — is covered in depth in the Campaigns docs section.

What happens after you launch

Hitting Start doesn't just fire off one batch of emails — it kicks off a live process that keeps running on its own from here:

Sending begins on schedule

Emails go out respecting your daily limit, sending days, and send window — not all at once, and never outside the hours you set.

Follow-ups trigger automatically

Anyone who doesn't reply (or open, depending on what you set) moves into the follow-up sequence on its own — no manual nudging required.

Real replies land in Inbox

Every response — interested, not interested, an out-of-office — shows up as a classified conversation, separate from your everyday mailbox.

Meetings can book themselves

If Auto-book meetings from replies was switched on, a lead ready to talk gets a confirmed calendar slot without you lifting a finger.

A great habit either way: send your first run to a small, familiar segment first. It's the fastest way to see your content, sender, and replies working exactly as expected before you scale up.
